ActiveNiryat Protsahan (Interest Equalisation and MSME Export Support)
NIRYAT PROTSAHAN provides 2.0 to 2.75 percent interest subvention on pre-shipment and post-shipment export credit in rupees for MSME exporters and identified product groups. Renamed from the legacy Interest Equalisation Scheme, with expanded MSME coverage from FY 2024-25.

Common rejection reasons
- ×Foreign currency export credit used instead of rupee credit.
- ×AD bank did not file beneficiary statement to RBI in time.
- ×Udyam registration lapsed during claim period.
- ×Exports made under Letter of Undertaking without bank financing.
How to apply
The application route differs by scheme. For NIRYAT PROTSAHAN, the working sequence is below.
Confirm Udyam registration (for MSME track) or that your HS code is in the 350 identified product lines.
Confirm your AD bank is a participating bank under NIRYAT PROTSAHAN.
Confirm with your bank whether they auto-apply the subvention (Route A) or require you to file PROT-1 (Route B).
If Route B, file PROT-1 half-yearly with shipping bill numbers, sanctioned credit, disbursed amounts.
Audit bank statements for subvention credit. If missing, raise a written follow-up with the bank.
Annual reconciliation against export financing for completeness.
